PRM Automotive was founded by Daniel over seven years ago with a simple vision: to create a mechanic workshop where great repairs and great service went hand-in-hand. What began with just Daniel, a handful of tools, and a small garage on Pipiroa Road quickly grew into something bigger.
His goal was always clear, to build an auto shop people could trust, where every customer felt looked after just as much as their car. Whether you come in for a car service, brake repairs, or a quick fix for your car, the focus remains the same: quality workmanship and honest advice you can rely on.

Meet daniel
Hi, I’m Daniel, founder of PRM (formerly Pipiroa Motors). I’ve always had a passion for cars, performance tuning, and doing things properly, so turning my hobby into a full-time business just made sense.
What started in my parents’ garage has grown into a full-blown auto repair shop that now supports the community with everything from car servicing to suspension and brake repairs. When I’m not in the workshop or chasing after my son Alex, I’m usually at the track drifting my S14 Silvia or helping out mates in the pits.
PRM is built on family values, genuine service, and a love for all things automotive.
Meet ryan
Hi, I’m Ryan, the other half of PRM. I came on board when things really started to take off and haven’t looked back since. Like Daniel, I’ve always been into cars, mechanics, and performance builds. Working side by side was something we always talked about as kids, so when the opportunity came up, it wasn’t just a no-brainer, it was a chance to bring our skills together and build something we could be proud of.
I’ve got a real passion for ECU tuning, performance upgrades, and digging into the tech side of things to get the most out of every build.

We have both had a large involvement in different professional motorsports from leading a pitcrew in NZV8's to building and crewing for the winning D1NZ prosport championship car.
We support Deane Young who has been competing in the Pro-Sport class now for over 3 years and has won the Pro-sport category most recently,We have been supporting Deane since 2020, Moving into the Pro class for the 25-26 season with a new Silvia S15 which we have helped build.
